The Madison Meadows Interscholastic Sports Program (MMISP)

The MMISP is designed to provide a competitive sports program for the students of Madison Meadows. The MMISP is funded by PTM, Student Council, and other benefactors. The cost of the program is augmented by activity fees charged each student athlete for each sport.

Madison Meadows Extra-Curricular Activities Philosophy

Madison Meadows School, in cooperation with parents, students, and staff strives to provide quality extracurricular activity programs. These programs complement the academic focus of Madison Meadows by providing student with an opportunity to develop both individual and team skills that promote a positive self-image and enhance school spirit.

Participation Criteria

Participating in extracurricular activities is a privilege that is extended to students who meet the following educational and behavioral standards:

  1. Be a student in good standing. This means maintaining above a "D" average in every subjects. A student's eligibility status will be determined at the time of the Quarterly Report Card. (Read #2)
  2. If a student athlete receives a "D" or "F" on a Quarterly Report Card, that student will not be eligible to participate in any extracurricular activities, including trips, games, practices, or tryouts, until their academic eligibility is demonstrated on the next report card.
  3. An "Incomplete," due to an excused absence or illness, will not prevent a student, who is otherwise in good standing, from participating in extracurricular activities during the time provided to the student to complete missing assignments or tests. Once that time has passed, the student must receive a "C-" or better in order to continue their participation.
  4. A student may be placed on behavioral probation upon receiving a Madison District Discipline Report. The length of the probation and/or conditions or reinstatement will be at the discretion of the principal.
  5. A coach may be suspended or removed from the extracurricular activity for conduct that is considered detrimental to the school, after consultation with parents and school administration or designee.
