Varsity and Junior Varsity Sport Teams.
April 16, 2008
Our JV softball and baseball teams remain undefeated,
7 wins and no losses, and in line for top seedings in the
conference tournament. The JV baseball playoffs will be at Western Sky Middle School and softball
playoffs will be at Wigwam Creek. The Varsity teams both endured
losses at Madison #1 on the 1st of April and are eagerly awaiting
a rematch on the 17th of April. The boys’ team also suffered
a loss at the hands of Isaac Middle School on the 3rd of April. Both of these teams will, most likely, have to play their way into the playoff finals.
Our Track team continues its impressive season and will be a serious
contender in the Conference meet on the 22nd and 24th of
April at Trevor Brown High School. A really special meet
will be held on the 26th of April (that’s a Saturday) at
Griffith School. Coach Davis is sending home information on this
meet that will feature our 5th & 6th grade track members.
Just for information purposes, our Valley Athletic Conference
website can be accessed at http://vacaz.com. This
site provides information on conference teams, their records and
even their addresses.

Sky and Arizona Storm are popular volleyball clubs. Maeghan

They won 8 of their ten matches. Then played its next several
tournaments against numerous 14 to 18-year old teams, and the
girls won every game. In their most recent tournament, the Storm
team won their first two matches, but unfortunately lost in the championship match.
The girls will be playing in a tournament in Denver, Colorado on March 8-10.
The Storm team plans on competing in a tournament in
Anaheim, California, and possibly Dallas, Texas.
Several other girls from Madison Meadows also play on Arizona
